BlackMagic can reproduce halftone screens to 200lpi on ink-jet printers using its Real Dot Technology to proof screened separations or by screening ripped files. A de-imposition tool allows press sheets to be split so they can be printed on smaller proofers.
BlackMagic, which was developed by Australian firm Serendipity Software, was previously sold by Fuji, which has switched to GMG software for proofing.
