New lease agreed

Reflections Print Finishers to reopen this week

Trade finishing work was stuck inside the factory

Reflections Print Finishers is set to reopen tomorrow following a hiatus when employees were locked out of its premises.

The business operates from two units on the Lefa Industrial Estate in Sidcup, Kent.

Last Thursday (20 February), debt and property recovery specialist Equivo secured the buildings on behalf of the landlord and posted a Notice of Forfeiture outside.

The lockout left a number of printers scrambling to try and extricate work that was stuck inside the factory.

Today (24 February) Reflections Print Finishers director Luke Hastings said the issues with the firm’s landlord had now been resolved.

He told Printweek: “I’m pleased to say a new lease on the building has been agreed. We can reopen as normal tomorrow.”

The firm’s services include laminating, UV varnishing, foil blocking, die cutting and creasing. It lays claim to being the largest trade finisher in the region.

Reflections acquired the business and assets of Crystal Press in the summer of 2023, and Printweek understands a cold foiling device that had been at Crystal Press was recently relocated to the Kent facility.
