Polestar wins contract for Hachette launch

Polestar has won the deal to produce Hachette Filipacchis new magazine <i>Psychologies</i>.

The monthly launch, which will hit newsstands next week, is being produced at Polestar Chantry, where Hachette titles Red and Elle are also printed.

Hachette Filipacchi's production director John Hughes said: "With the short cut-off [KBA] press, the company was able to offer a cost effective and efficient proposal to meet our requirements."

Polestar's scooping of the new title follows a 10m bindery investment at Chantry, which included the installation of five Muller Martini perfect binding lines.

"This is another feather in Polestar Chantry's cap," said Polestar account director Steve Campbell. "We are delighted to strengthen our relationship with Hachette Filipacchi."
