Kyp Systems has developed a new magazine stitching system that can run alongside its iKyp direct mail product.
Polestar worked alongside Kyp Systems to develop a method of binding the iKyp into magazines. Its stitch-in technique uses a perforated edge, which readers will be able to neatly tear out enabling them to keep the interactive iKyp.
Polestar director Jeff White said: "We are always looking for new products and techniques which help advertisers and publishers engage their audiences, and are pleased to have played a role in bringing the iKyp to the marketplace."
According to Kyp Systems, the iKyp is an innovative communication tool that can generate significantly higher responses than traditional DM solutions. It is a magazine insert, which can carry electronic information and bespoke extras, such as bottle openers.
Nicholas Miller, chief executive at Kyp Systems, said: "The iKyp has consistently delivered higher response rates and ROI for our client's DM campaigns and we are delighted to be able to extend these benefits to the publishing industry through our relationship with Polestar."
