The Kern will run alongside Peppermill document composition software and will produce fully personalised VDP direct mail pieces from digitally printed sheets.
Kern demonstrated the machine, which runs at speeds of up to 1,400 items per hour, at its stand at Drupa.
According to Kern, running the machine alongside Peppermill makes it possible to produce a fully personalised envelope with a matching letter from A3 or A4 sheets automatically, which can lead to higher response rates.
The Kern K515 EasyMailer's market price starts at £90,000.
