The 14-year-old company, which already serves around 50,000 customers across Europe, is targeting customers that require higher-volume print runs that it has traditionally served.
Pixart.it, which officially launched into the UK last month, offers the litho service in addition to its comprehensive digital portfolio that includes 15 Roland DG wide-format printers, a Xerox iGen3, six HP Indigo 7000s, two Durst Rho flatbed machines, as well as Mimaki, Zünd, KIP and Duplo kit.
Matteo Rigamonti, managing director of pixart.it, said the Speedmaster service came in response to an increased demand for longer-run work through its web-to-print service.
He said: "With our new offset printing service we have closed the circle in terms of our comprehensive product offering.
"Clients can now come to us not only for wide-format and low- to medium-volume digital printing, but also for those projects where high volumes make offset printing more economic."
