The toner-based digital printer, which offers productions speeds up to 240m2, has been delivered to the company's new Marghera site near Venice.
The Color 80 is designed for the printing of technical documents such as architectural and engineering to display graphics and public signage.
It will be used to help handle some of the 1,000 orders the company on, average, processes on a daily basis.
Matteo Rigamonti, director of pixart.it, said the new KIP Color 80 is said: "the most open and powerful colour imaging system on the market and for this reason we have decided to invest in this equipment and exploit its potential to the full".
He added: "For us it is essential to be able to operate continuously, without problems or interruptions and above all to a high level of quality."
Pixart.it was founded in 1994 and runs a raft of kit that includes HP Indigo machines, Roland plotters, Durst Rho 800 flatbeds and Zünd cutter plotters.

Italian printer Pixart.it has become the first European company to invest in KIP's latest wide-format colour machines, the KIP Color 80.
