Pindar prepress specialist moves to Targetcolour

Pindar prepress systems manager Con Larkin has left the Scarborough-based web printer to join print project management specialists Targetcolour.

Larkin, who has 25 years of prepress experience, including 13 with Pindar, was recruited for his knowledge of Kodak's Prinergy workflow and his colour management expertise.

Niall Coady, managing director of Targetcolour, said: "We welcome Con to the Targetcolour consultancy team. He brings repro and press calibration to the mix."

Larkin said he was looking forward to helping businesses become more profitable through the use of open standards and process control, following his job switch.

The announcement comes just four months after Targetcolour's last high-profile joiner, former Polestar group technical director Jack Bissett.

Coady said Larkin's skills would complement his colour management expertise, Malcolm Mackenzie's knowledge of light and imaging, Mark Priest's press expertise and Jack Bissett's understanding of print businesses.

Larkin, who is based in the north of England, will look after customers in the region, as well as Scotland.
