The Tyneside company has since secured new business worth 2m with some major food companies.
Among the deals are single-source contracts with Findus and Campbell's.
PDG has also won work from Richmond Foods' ice cream division, whose brands include Nestl Ice Cream, Treats and Skinny Cow.
"We promised our clients that we would be bigger and better after the fire and they have shown their confidence in us," said PDG joint managing director Gordon Scorer.
"The combined new business gives us a 2m increase in annual turnover, moving it from 15m to 17m."
