Yes, it’s the Dull Men of Great Britain calendar 2015, the official calendar of the Dull Men’s Club, which celebrates the ordinary “giving a good name to a four-letter word”.
Overmatter was dazzled by the veritable cornucopia of dreary delights therein, including a man who collects bricks, one who is an avid drain-spotter (yes, drains), and another chap who has the world’s largest collection of traffic cones. Swoon!
Mr June, meanwhile, is on a mission to photograph Britain’s post boxes and has already captured more than 2,500, while Mr April has spent 30 years collecting milk bottles and has recently had to extend his shed to house them all. That involved a 24ft extension to a monstrous shed that was already 80ft long, by the way. We are less pleased about Mr February, Ken McCoy, who has sent his wife the same Valentine’s Day card for the last 35 years. Definitely not a print champion.
Overmatter made a suitably dull request for details of the printer – it was designed and printed by The Studio in Romsey. Here’s hoping it generates a surprisingly exciting level of sales.
