Yes, it’s the annual Presstival jamboree on the first weekend in September, at the Whittington Press in lovely Whittington in the leafy Cotswolds. Let joy be unconfined! 

A veritable cornucopia of letterpress and fine printing delights is in store, not least the opportunity to look around the Press’ own amazing setup and take a trip down printing memory lane.

Last year Overmatter was also captivated by the how-to exhibit of hand-marbled papers, and by an array of letterpress, wood engraving and binding enthusiasts selling an assortment of cards, books and print paraphernalia. 

Admittedly the “print your own poster and get a free mojito” offer was also a major attraction. 

Hopefully the sun will shine on the righteous print folk come Saturday 6 September. Advice to the uninitiated, bring plenty of cash in anticipation of being tempted by a plethora of print booty.
