So you can imagine Overmatter’s joy when a press copy of Adventures in Letterpress, a new book by owner of US-based greetings card company Blue Barnhouse, landed at PrintWeek Towers.
“Well, this all looks very decorative and charming,” thought Overmatter, leafing happily through Brandon Mise’s compilation of work from around the world.
Luxury business cards, Valentine’s messages… ‘Stop ****ing with my serenity’ note cards… Cue Overmatter nearly falling off chair. Turns out those crafty print tykes aren’t all wholesome jumpers and gentle in-jokes. Letterpress has got edge.
