Well, Tigger is also doing his bit for charity in the shape of Ultimate Packaging executive director Chris Tonge, who, as Printweek went to press, was in the process of a 24-hour bungee bounce-athon – dressed as Tigger, of course – in aid of local hospice St Andrew’s in Grimsby.
In fact, Ultimate Packaging’s digital centre at its Europarc facility has been turned into a veritable cornucopia of bouncy delights for ‘The Ultimate Bounce-athon’ with staff and visitors and indeed all-comers encouraged to join in the springy fun on a bounce-themed assault course in aid of a good cause.
We see it also involves that stalwart of childhood bouncing injuries, the space hopper, so what can possibly go wrong?
Tonge’s task was taking place over three eight-hour stages. “It’ll be terrrrrrific,” said ‘Tigger Tonge’, his moniker for the week. We’re just hoping that harness doesn’t chafe too much…
Ultimate Packaging is aiming to raise £25,000 for St Andrew’s as it undertakes 40 fundraising events to mark the hospice’s 40th year. Grrrrrreat stuff. The donation link is bit.ly/TiggChall.
