The company will work with the Born Free Foundation, to promote 'Born Free' – a photography competition that gives pupils the chance to win a trip to the Shamwari Game Reserve in South Africa.
Ewa Johnson, marketing director at OKI Printing Solutions, said: "One of our key aims with this initiative is to develop new relationships with schools with campaigns that directly benefit teachers and pupils, while also impacting positively on the environment."
As part of the Tools for Schools scheme, OKI is offering a 30-day free trial of a range of its printers, which schools can apply for during the Born Free competition.
Schools taking this option will receive an endangered species wall chart, animal adoption kit, screen saver and energy monitor.
To enter, schools need to register at www.okitoolsforschools.co.uk and upload photographs of local wildlife taken by their pupils.
The two top prize-winning entries will be awarded by a representative from Born Free at the BETT Show at London Olympia on 17 January 2009.
