The printers have been designed for use in workgroup environments and can also be used to produce documents such as business cards, CD labels and banners at lengths up to 1.2m long.

The ES2632a4 is being aimed at print production houses or educational users in schools. The press can output at speeds of up to 26ppm in full colour and 32ppm in mono operation. The model also incorporates duplex printing as standard.

The ES2232a4 can produce 22ppm in colour and up to 32ppm in mono. The press is being targeted at companies that require a mono printer with full colour capability when needed.

The printers can handle a range of paper weights up to 203gsm business cards and banners up to 215 x 1200mm in size.

Both models also feature toner status indicators on the control panel display, which allows users to see when toner is getting low and the press can be upgraded with extra memory and a second tray unit.

OKI Printing Solutions senior product marketing manager Alan McLeish said: "The OKI Executive Series ES2232a4 and ES2632a4 are the ideal solutions for small-to-medium-sized businesses, educational establishments and any workgroups requiring affordable, high-performance colour and mono printing."

The ES2232a4 and the ES2632a4 models are both available now. Pricing was not available at the time of writing.
