The manufacturer is pitching the machine at commercial print operations, a move away from the office environments its 9000 series traditionally serve.
The ES9410 offers print speeds of up to 31ppm in colour operation and at a maximum 36ppm in mono mode. Capable of handling stocks up to 300gsm, the new model can print at resolutions of up to 1,200x600dpi.
According to Alan McLeish, senior product marketing manager at OKI, the ES9410 offers "dependable page-after-page consistency" on solid colours.
He added that the new machine would also appeal to a broad spectrum of potential customers.
"We believe this machine will be attractive to small digital print providers looking to upgrade existing equipment or to expand their current print fleet, as it can be used for short-run production printing, proofing, business cards and posters," said McLeish.
OKI ‘s new ES9410 is compatible with the EFI Colourprint XF colour management RIP and EFI Fiery's XF Production RIP software.
The ES9410 will be available exclusively through OKI and its resellers. It is available now and has a list price of around £6,000.
