It launched its own 2.6m wide roll-fed solvent ink-jet machine at Fespa, and has signed a distribution deal with Swiss UV-cured flatbed press manufacturer Znd.
The Oc CS6100 is designed to produce high-resolution graphics, with a wide-colour gamut, that are durable outdoors for up to three years.
Its double roll, double-sided features and ability to print unlined mesh substrates are almost identical to the recently launched SII ColorPainter 100s (PrintWeek, 9 June).
Production speed is up to 30.6m2 per hour. Oc supplies the machines as a complete package including an Onyx Graphics RIP.
The firm has also signed a deal with Znd to sell the Uvjet 215-Plus and the Uvjet 250-Combi flatbed printers in the UK and Ireland.
Both machines are also capable of printing onto rolls as well as flat sheets. The 215 handles materials up to 4cm thick while the 250 handles up to 10cm.
