New direction for Stitch and Trim

Print finisher Stitch and Trim is entering into a new phase as managing director Steve Sitton sets about running the company alone.

Sitton has bought out former partner Colin Saville and taken over the £800,000 turnover company in his own right.

Saville has left to pursue his own interests.

Essex-based Stitch and Trim has also announced plans to move into the sheet-fed finishing business.

The company has invested in two MBO folding machines and a Wohlenberg guillotine to run alongside three Prima Stitching lines.

Commenting on the latest developments Sitton said: “We were just a stitching house before but with these investments we are beginning to move forward. We have dealt mainly with web-fed work before but we are now looking to do sheet-fed as well."
