To meet demand for what Neschen head of marketing and communication Frank Seemann described as an "overnight sensation" it has moved to 24-hour production.
"Three things have contributed to this: the quality of the product, the universal CA coating, which enables printing on a wide-range of different machines with vibrant output, and the ease of application in-situ," said Seemann.
He added that the firm’s subsidiaries and dealers worldwide had been falling over themselves to jump the production queue.
Prior to the spike in demand the firm scored another success at Fespa when the Erfut Wallpaper CA stock was used by one of the gold award winners at Fespa.
Zurich-based Swissprint Production used the substrate to produce a tulip graphic for the launch of Krone restaurant in Dietikon, Switzerland, for its grand opening on 19 April.
Swissprint was commissioned to produce the graphics by Swiss architect Tilla Theus.
"Digitally printed wallpaper is the ideal medium for combining architecture and ambience in optimum fashion," said Swissprint managing director Bea Spillmann. "There are no restrictions on creativity."
