MP visits TPF Group's Guildford facility

TPF Group has received a visit from shadow health minister Anne Milton after the print management company took on 38 staff from Guildford-based financial group, Allianz.

The MP was given a full guided tour of Lexicon House, Guildford by TPF's chief executive Steve Brundle and group services director Catherine Burke.

Milton reportedly showed particular interest in Concept, TPF's web-based print procurement system.

Brundle told PrintWeek: We’re very grateful that Anne was able to spared some of her valuable time to visit TPF.  I think it was a real eye opener for her to see, in action, some of the sophisticated communications technologies which the Conservative Party have deployed at recent by-elections.

"The speed at which we can turn around large qualities of high quality printed materials with tailored messages looks sure to be an important part of their campaigning armoury at the next general election.

In September 2007, TPF Group said it was set to break through the £100m-turnover mark when it took over Allianz Insurance's in-house print facility in a lucrative six-and-a-half year outsourcing deal.
