Moules joined YM as group sales manager in spring 2014, and was promoted to group sales director designate just over five years ago.
Prior to joining YM he was sales manager at Artisan Press for more than 11 years.
Both his grandfather and father worked in print and he followed them into the industry.
Moules had a routine operation in November and while he was recuperating after that – he is now fully recovered – took time to reflect on his future plans and ambitions.
“After eight successful years with the group it was time to seek a new challenge and decide on my next career move. My intention is to stay in print, it’s a great industry and I have built strong relationships with clients and suppliers,” he said.
Moules said it was solely his personal decision to leave.
“I have left YM on extremely amicable terms and I think everyone respects my decision. I was selling across all of the sites and I’ve got so much respect for the people at the group and wish them well.”
YM group sales director Norman Revill said that he was sad to see Moules go. He said the role will be replaced and the search for a successor was progressing well.
In a LinkedIn post announcing his departure, Moules thanked Revill for his support during his time at the business, and also thanked “my wonderful colleagues across the group, who are some of the most talented and hard-working people I’ve had the pleasure of working with.”
