Revill worked at YM for almost a decade, and was group sales director at the business.

He was among more than 500 employees who were laid off when York Mailing, Pindar Scarborough and YM Chantry went into administration at the end of March.

Revill has now set up his own company, Secrets of Print Consultancy, with the aim of championing the effective use of print.

Sharing the news on LinkedIn, Revill said: “I am delighted to announce my latest chapter in my printing career, I have started a new company, Secrets of Print Consultancy Limited,”

“I will be offering an advisory service to all marketing companies who wish to maximise the potential of print as an effective media, along with a complete print production service.”

Prior to joining YM Group Revill was managing director at press manufacturer Manroland GB. He has worked in the industry for more than 30 years.

He is co-owner of the new business together with his wife Julie.
