Mitsubishi teams with Esko-Graphics on pre-press

Mitsubishi will be unveiling its new pre-press partner, Esko-Graphics (E-G), at an open day on 16 September.

It had an agreement with Screen, but that kit has been removed and E-G's will be installed in early September.  

"They are going use our showroom as a demonstration spot, whereas Screen never did," said Mitsubishi UK sales director Mick Carr. 

The violet CTP kit on display includes a PlateDriver 8HS and the latest Plate- Driver Compact. E-G will also be highlighting its Scope workflow in the BackStage configuration. 

"We have the possibility to show products in a real-time environment," said Esko-Graphics UK sales manager Keith Davison. Both firms hope the agreement has a cross-fertilisation effect, linking press and pre-press demos.
