MacMillan takes charge at HH

HH Associates has promoted sales director Robert MacMillan to the role of managing director.

Howard Hunt, who founded the company in the early 1990s with his wife Sharon, moves up to become chairman.

MacMillan said he planned to build on the firms rapid growth, which has seen sales rise by 40% over the last year to 21m. One of our biggest assets is our independence and its a real point of difference for us, he said. The competition are either owned by printing companies or are investing in machinery.

Blue-chip clients include Carphone Warehouse, British Gas, Royal Mail and the AA.

Sutton-based HH has also promoted two other staff to directorships. Richard Charnley becomes business development director and James Reeves studio director.

And the firm has also appointed William Mills, formerly managing director of Jarrold Printing, as a non-executive director.

Hes a good guy, very knowledgeable and can really add value to our thinking, MacMillan added.
