The media can be used in thermal platesetters with a halftone proofing option, including Creo Trendsetters and Lotems fitted with the Spectrum option.
KPGs new larger gamut donor set is part of a renewed interest in the technology. In the US, Creo is beta testing Spotless, which uses Hexachrome and stochastic screening to replace spot colours.
