Product marketing manager, colour proofing Craig Robertson said that the combination provided a system that could be used to make proofs from "concept to contract".
The RIP includes KPG's Colour Fidelity Module and an ISO 12647 colour profile, which was developed by Mellow Colour. "We've taken the data and made our system look like a press," said Robertson.
Media is available in semi-matte in three tints, super-white, commercial and publication in rolls and sheets.
"We've brought in higher weights and specific media for dye and pigment inks that are more stable and faster dying, those are the key issues," said Robertson. "It comes down to buyers too they look and feel."
The RIP costs 1,300 for the A2 version and 1,700 for A1 less than before.
