KPGs product marketing manager for colour technologies, Craig Robertson, said the new version could also provide colour-managed print previews using International Colour Consortium (ICC) profiles.
The refined version of the software will help standardise production of Matchprint analogue proofs, Robertson added.
It will support printers including the HP DesignJet 10/20/50 PS series, the Canon 8500, and the Epson 5000, 7600, 9600, and 10000 series.
Colour RIP Version 2.5 is available now and will vary in cost from 1,100 to 2,595 depending on the size of ink-jet colour printer.
