Jobs were shown from estimate creation to print completion. They were set up in Printcafe's Hagen MIS, with content creation, annotation and approval being shown using Creo's Synapse Prepare and Insite. Job details from Hagen were used by Creo Upfront to create an imposition plan, which was used by Prinergy to create plates and proofs.
Details from the MIS were also passed to Komori's K-Station to prepare the press for the job. Ink-key data was generated by Prinergy and sent to set pre-inking on the press.
Komori president and chief executive Yoshiharu Komori used the occasion to give a presentation to the first S40 customers in the UK. Huntingdon-based Beamglow was the first UK customer to order an S40 - a seven-colour plus coater.
