The award was received by KMI’s director, Nilesh Shah at an annual conference recently held in Shanghai.
The firm was also the recipient of colour machines sales award in 2006.
KMI Business Technologies sells Develop and Konica Minolta (KM) MFP brand of printers manufactured by KM, the only distributor in the world to do so, claims Shah. In addition it also sells KM’s complete range of black and white; and colour production machines (Bizhub press). KMI offers machines on outright sale, lease or rental basis. It also specialises in document management systems and colour solutions.
Shah said: "We have a network of 350 dealers across India through whom we sell besides our direct marketing team. Our collaboration is built on deep appreciation of the roles we all play – marketing and sales – to satisfy the requirements of the customers."
According to Shah, the print provider today is not merely a supplier of service and can’t afford to always do things in vacuum. "They have to adopt dramatically different strategies – look for growth in digital areas by innovation and partnering with their customers."
The 15-year old KMI serves customers across the country in all verticals of market like government, corporates, jobbers, educational and financial institutions. The firm is a registered supplier under DGSD and local state government rate contracts.
