Managing director Terrye Jones highlighted that part of the investment has included the 250,000 purchase of a second Tamarak M500 die-cutter for the 1,000sqm plant.
"We produce 50% of all PIN mailers for the UK market more than 12m per year. Our investment in a second Tamarak M500 substantially increases our die-cutting capability," said Jones.
The new factory is the first in the UK to produce a run of the new Hydalam XO laser PIN mailer, which includes a scratch-off strip for enhanced security.
The plant has triple-glazed, Argon-filled roof-lights, double insulation, rainwater harvesting and reuse systems and short-flush toilets, and is claimed as being among the most green in Cornwall.
