Managing director Terrye Jones highlighted that part of the investment has included the 250,000 purchase of a second Tamarak M500 die-cutter for the 1,100sq m plant.
"We produce 50% of all PIN mailers for the UK market - more than 12 million a year. Our investment in a second Tamarak M500 substantially increases our die-cutting capability," said Jones.
"We are also seeking new accounts to take advantage of our new hot-melt facility for long run label work."
The new factory is the first in the UK to produce a commercial run of the new Hydalam XO laser PIN mailer, which includes a scratch-off strip for enhanced security.
The plant itself features triple-glazed, Argon-filled rooflights, double insulation, timber from sustainable sources, rainwater harvesting and reuse systems and short-flush toilets and has been confirmed as one of the most eco-friendly in Cornwall.
