The two businesses, which have worked together since 2008, have launched an online service that printers can use to calculate the greenhouse gas emissions from their print production and offset them by engaging with certified climate protection projects.
KBA director of marketing and communication Klaus Schmidt said: "Climate neutral printing is one of many services offered by KBA for sustainable printing production.
"We hope to support our customers not only with highly efficient printing equipment and our commitment to waterless offset printing in environmentally friendly production, but also to help them select the best printing substrate and finishing processes.
"That's why we've made the decision to come together with ClimatePartner to create an online platform for climate neutral printing."
The new service is immediately available across Europe and the US at www.climateneutralprinting.com/kba.
