The new Kama CPX enables clichés to be quickly and precisely mounted onto the cold mounting plate on the outside of a die-cutter.
According to Kama, its new product offers two advantages to users – it can calculate adjustments for shifts resulting from temperature changes in one step, and the die-cutter can continue working on other jobs while the mounting process is being carried out.
CPX can be used for positioning hot foil stamping, holograms and cold embossing. It can also be set up to work with other manufacturers' equipment.
Kama said the CPX product is perfect for finishers that handle items including sales folders, goods tags, book covers, ticket sleeves, and CD pockets.
Kama positioning system to increase die-cutting speeds
Finishing equipment manufacturer Kama has developed a new positioning system which it claims makes the die-cutting process easier for operators.
