It has released a computer-aided configurator for the ProFold 74 folder gluer, as well as the ProFoil finishing die cutter, both of which had their world debuts at the company's Finishing Days event in Dresden last month.
Both products are now available for UK printers and finishers to purchase.
Kama believes that it was the first manufacturer to develop a computer-aided configurator, which runs alongside the ProFold 74 folder-gluer. According to the company, it could lead to "considerable" time savings when setting up the folder gluer.
The ProFoil 74 die-cutter can handle up to 740x600mm. It is equipped with a permanently installed heating plate and an original honeycomb plate for the attachment of stamping tools.
Steffen Pieper, managing director at Kama, said: "This special model compliments our line-up of finishing die cutters and is, as the name already suggests, primarily intended for use as a hotfoil-stamping machine."
According to Pieper, the machine is being aimed particularly at hotfoil users in the packaging sector, as well as finishers and jobbing printers.
