Jigsaw Colour will install a 1.2m Heidelberg CD 102 FL between Christmas and New Year to minimise disruption to production.
The CD 102 FL will have CP 2000 control features and will be networked to Jigsaw Colour's CreoScitex Brisque pre-press workflow.
The press will arrive on 27 December and will be running by the beginning of the second week in January.
Jigsaw managing director Will Fairbairn said this was part of the London firm's long-term investment strategy. Jigsaw is appraising various CTP systems. "We're pleased with Scitex," said Fairbairn, but a decision as to which CTP system it will buy has not yet been made.
Jigsaw's turnover is 2m and it is forecasting a 15% growth in the next year.
Jigsaw was one of the finalists for SME Company of the Year at last month's PrintWeek Awards.
