Islington rejigs print roster

Islington Council has advertised to set up an eight-strong framework of companies to provide a total of 4.5m of print.

The north London council is looking to centralise a range of agreements held by various departments and its printroom into a roster of eight firms.

The framework will be in place for four years and, according to the ‘Official Journal of the European Union’, will be worth between £3m and £4.5m over the period of the contract.

Firms selected for the framework will produce both sheetfed litho work and digital print.

The deadline for expressions of interest is 5pm on 22 June, and companies will know by 11 July if they have been selected to tender.
