The print, publishing and media industries trade show will benefit from improved navigation and layout with all the halls joined together from the addition of hall 16, which sits between halls 12 and 17.
The previous event, in 2006, attracted a record 40% of international visitors from 159 countries.
Ipex 2010 event director Trevor Crawford said the new layout offered one main central entrance with easy access to public transport and car parks.
"We're absolutely thrilled about the new layout as it will reduce the distance between halls so visitors can maximise their time at the event," he said.
The new footprint mirrors the print production workflow from Creation & Design (hall 16); Pre-Media Solutions (halls 9-12); Output (halls 6-8 and 20); Post-press Systems & Finishing Equipment (halls 18-19) as well as Packaging & Converting (hall 17).
Ipex 2010, which will run on May 18-25, will be officially launched at Drupa 2008.
