The show, which once again takes place at the NEC in Birmingham, will for the first time be located in all the new halls, which are linked around the modern atrium concourse.
Heidelberg's George Clarke, president of Ipex 2010, expects the event's new layout to "create a new footprint" that would "enhance both the visitor and exhibitor experience".
Ipex 2010 event director Trevor Crawford said: "We are delighted to have secured these key dates for Ipex 2010, which avoid all the main holiday dates in this period and allow us to continue our traditional Tuesday-to-Tuesday opening period."
Ipex 2006 attracted 52,432 visitors, with 18,234 exhibitor personnel at the 4-11 April event.
