An insolvency practitioner has been appointed to South Wales-based CD printing and fulfilment specialist Traxdata Wales.
Earlier this year the company launched what was described as the worlds first method of individualising CDs and DVDs.
The Disc-ID system, which was developed with US manufacturer Apex, prints a unique code onto CDs during the standard decorative process.
Traxdata Group invested 5.5m in an expansion programme in July 1998 after the merger of its graphics division with Three Arch Press. It expected to create 170 new jobs.
The firm was unable to provide any further details as PrintWeek went to press.
