Heidelberg is to unveil a new version of its software to help users create individual PDF workflow to their specific needs, at Chicagos Print 01.
The companys MetaDimension 2.5 RIP will now incorporate Enfocus software modules to streamline the creation of PDF files, the firm said.
This new workflow concept gives a robust and customer-oriented PDF solution, said Axel Zoeller, vice president of product management workflow at Heidelberg.
Customers can create their individual PDF workflow to their needs, thanks to its modularity.
The package uses Enfocus PitStop PDF preflighting and correction technology.
Productivity of PDF workflow is improved through pre-flight and auto-correction capabilities of PitStop Professional. PitStop Server with hot-folder set-ups is also an option.
