The device, which comes complete with the Boxit automated postal traying system, was delivered to the Leicester company’s site on 3 October and has joined three existing Bowe Fusion Cross Inserters.
Commissioning and testing is now underway prior to handover for going live with production.
The business said it required the increased capacity after it won a series of substantial contracts.
Danny Cook, group operations director at Go Inspire, said: “Year-on-year print and mailing growth at our Leicester site demanded further investment.
“Our partnership with the Bowe Group, who also support our existing inserting and sorting equipment, played a key role in our decision to reinvest in a second Bowe Fusion Speed inserter.
“This latest addition will ensure we continue to meet the demands of our clients efficiently and securely.”
Darren Lyall, site manager at Go Inspire Leicester, added: “Processing outbound physical mail at the lowest cost per mail piece is critical to our success. We also have to maintain the highest levels of document security and integrity that our clients demand.
“The Fusion Speed inserter, with its automated traying system, meets all of these needs perfectly.”
Steve Basnett, UK senior account manager for Bowe Group, said the manufacturer was pleased that Go Inspire had again selected Bowe Group for this investment.
“In addition to ordering a new Fusion Speed inserter, [Go Inspire] have also upgraded two of their existing Fusion Cross inserting lines with portrait to landscape modules for processing continuous stationery C4 applications, plus a further on-line inkjet system for personalising outer envelopes.”
Last year, Go Inspire invested £1.5m in a new web-to-print operation, powered by marketing software XMPIE, running from its Kettering site.
The group was acquired in 2022 by Xerox as part of the manufacturer’s strategy to grow its digital services business.
