The marketing specialist said it has received certification of its use of 100% green renewable energy, backed by The Carbon Trust.
Go Inspire applied for the certification late last year. Its energy sources now include wind (58.20%), solar PV (14.61%), hydro (9.53%), thermal (8.22%), waste (4.98%), biomass (4.08%), and anaerobic digestion (0.38%).
The business said it is also currently researching the potential use of solar generation, as well as driving an internal energy reduction program. This complemented the ISO 50001 certification the group was awarded following an independent audit by certification agency BM Trada last year.
Go Inspire group operations director Danny Cook said: “We’re delighted to receive this certification – the latest demonstration that our continued commitment to a sustainable future is still high on the agenda – alongside other ESG objectives.
“Furthermore, moving to 100% sustainable energy will reduce our dependence on fossil fuels. It’s the right thing to do for the planet, it’s great for us and for our clients, and we’re proud to be on this journey.”
Last year, Go Inspire invested £1.5m in a new web-to-print operation, powered by marketing software XMPIE, running from its Kettering site.
The group, which also has sites in Leicester and London, was acquired in 2022 by Xerox as part of the manufacturer’s strategy to grow its digital services business.
