Go Inspire expects its new web-to-print portal, powered by marketing software XMPIE, to capture significant sales growth for the £100m company.
In equipment alone, the investment has involved Go Inspire adding a small fleet of Xerox presses, with a Versant 4100, Versant 280 and 120ppm Iridesse cut-sheet providing major digital production capacity, backed by a Nuvera 314 for lightweight stocks and PrimeLink B9136 printer-copier.
The investment round also included a raft of finishing kit added to Go Inspire’s plant list, with the firm updating its Palamides folding machines with Palamides 702 and 502 models and adding a high-speed MBO folding line with MBO CoBo-Stack robot stacker.
In order to accommodate the new kit, Go Inspire added a 360sqm mezzanine floor at the Kettering factory, with installations completed in September.
The fit-out has come in response to clients’ demands for a quick and easy portal for short-run or digital print requests.
Danny Cook, group operations director, said: “We are thrilled about these investments and their potential to transform our manufacturing capabilities and expand our service offerings.
“We now have the ability to produce short-run volumes, closing the gap in the ever-changing needs of our marketing clients, specifically with the addition of the Xerox Iridesse press, allowing us to provide customers with print enhancements including silver, gold and fluorescents.
“The company remains committed to delivering exceptional print and marketing solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients.”
Go Inspire, which employs 430 across sites in Leicester, Kettering and London, was acquired in 2022 by Xerox, as part of the manufacturer’s strategy to grow its digital services business.
