Jaws PDF Creator 4 complies with version 3 of the Ghent PDF Workgroup profiles and PDF/X-1a: 2001 and PDF/X-3: 2002 standards.
"New features relevant to the graphic arts market include plug-ins for PDF/X and other pre-press plug-ins," said marketing communications manager Justin Coombes.
"These include plug-ins for applications such as QuarkXPress. Our mix of plug-ins brings us up to compliance."
Files complied with PDF 1.5 from most Macintosh applications, and another feature included extended Mac OS X support up to 10.4.
Jaws PDF Creator 4 let users print to a PDF file or convert PostScript or EPS files directly to PDF, said Global Graphics.
