The new version, which is supplied by UK dealer Positive Focus, costs 1,235, compared with 1,817 for the 50-seat version and the unlimited-seat version at 7,267.
"Some users felt that having the 50-user version was too big, especially if they had a design team of 12," said Positive Focus managing director Ivor Dixon.
"Thats why we really pressured Global Graphics to make this version," he added.
The Jaws PDF Server produces PDF 1.4 compliant files from PostScript, EPS or TIFF input and gives full control of compression, down sampling, font embedding and security for each output.
