Ghent Open Suite version 2.0 covers the most common problems relating to PDF for print workflows. It consists of eight new PDF patches, resulting in 19 PDF test patches in all, together with revised manuals.
Each patch is numbered and contains several related tests. The patches can be used in isolation, but the intention is that they be grouped together as PDF files would be in a workflow.
All patches conform to either PDF/X-1a or PDF/X-3 ISO standard. Ghent Open Suite is available for free download from GWG’s website www.gwg.org.
