Grasmere Digital Imaging's (GDI) Card Corporation is launching Printpotential, a trade-only digital print e-commerce platform, at the end of this month.
The service will operate on four levels, starting from a basic online print ordering service through to an interactive design service with online templates.
"The site will hopefully open the internet to any trade customer," said GDI's marketing and development director, Ivor Jacobs.
Customers will be charged a 25 registration fee, but early sign-ups will receive vouchers for almost 50 of free DIY business cards and labels.
Printpotential previewed at last month's IPIA Print for Business Show, where Jacobs said over 70 people expressed serious interest in the system.
GDI acquired Card Corporation in 1998, and has incorporated its software to develop web-based digital print services.
The site can be viewed at www.printpotential.co.uk.
