Fujifilm Sericol to roll out Euromedia one-stop consumables shop across Europe

A new one-stop shop for wide-format printers has launched onto the market, as Fujifilm Sericol brings its Euromedia brand to the UK as part of a European roll-out.

The firm officially introduced the offering at last week's Sign UK & Digital show at Birmingham's NEC. Euromedia is essentially a single source of supply for substrates, ink, and equipment targeted at signmakers, large-format digital printers and screen printers with up to £1m turnover.

The brand became part of the Fujifilm Sericol portfolio through its acquisition of Germany's Colormy, and its success has driven plans for a European-wide expansion.

"It's a €27m business in Germany and the plan is to take that model and implant it in other countries," explained Keith Harley, European marketing director at Fujifilm Sericol. "We added 500 new UK customers in the build-up to the launch, and our objective is to grow that to 2,000 regular customers in 12 months."

Through Euromedia, users can access 1,600 media products, with some 200 currently held in stock although that is set to grow. Next day or 48-hour delivery is part of the offering, which taps into the existing Sericol distribution network.

In addition a "Euromedia qualified" tick mark is applied to selected non-Euromedia branded products that are approved to provide guaranteed performance with the range.

Future plans include adding services such as business development training to the offering.

Fujifilm Sericol plans to extend the Euromedia brand to France next.
