Formara buys Perfecta for productivity boost

Formara Press has installed a Perfecta 92HTVC from finishing distributor Graphic Arts Equipment (GAE).

The Southend-on-Sea printer has replaced a 20-year old guillotine with the new machine, which is capable of storing up to 6,000 cut positions, within 250 programs.

Managing director Freddie Kienzler said the safety elements were very appealing, "particularly the ultra-safe knife change which can be completed very quickly".

The Perfecta is also easy to use, according to Kienzler, who said that the company, which has 45 staff and sales of £3m, had improved its cutting productivity by 20% with the machine.

  • Meanwhile, GAE has recently been appointed exclusive agent in the UK and Ireland for Czech thermal laminator manufacturer Komfi.
