The agency, which had been held by Sidcup-based Geliot Hurner Ewen for more than 50 years, changed hands after talks between Perfecta in Germany and GAE managing director Tony Hards and finance director Bryan Godwyn.
GAE is unique in its offering of independent major products from pressroom through to bindery. Perfecta is another valuable addition to that range, said Hards.
GAE also distributes Shinohara presses, Horizon finishing equipment and Nagano desktop printers and business card cutters.
Geliot Hurner Ewen managing director Brian Mickels was unavailable for comment as PrintWeek went to press.
